Customers immediately receive the welcome bonus of 40 minutes of free talk time that can be used within 30 days of activating the account. Additionally, every month for the first three months from activation, customers receive free 40 minutes that are automatically added to their Wasel account after a voice-call spend of AED 40. In all, customers can enjoy a total of up to 160 free minutes. Every free 40-minute bonus includes 25 minutes for local calls and 15 minutes for international calls and is valid for a period of 30 days.

Upon activating the Wasel account, customers will be instantly informed about their free talk time and promotion details through an SMS notification. Etisalat will also send its customers free SMS alerts to keep them informed about their free talk time limit and balance usage required to receiving new 40 minutes bonus talk time. Alternatively, customers can check their free minutes balance by simply dialing *121*52# and check their voice-spend by dialing *144*10#.

Terms & Conditions

• All customers who purchase a new Etisalat Wasel SIM card are entitled to FREE minutes.
• The FREE minutes are valid for 30 days from the date they are granted.
• FREE minutes will be granted one time every 30 days for 3 consecutive months from activation date, in addition to the 40 minutes welcome bonus upon activation.
• FREE minutes can be used to any local or international destination at any time of the day. It cannot be used while roaming and to call premium numbers or the Satellite calls (Thuraya, Inmarsat etc.)
• AED 40 voice calls spend is required from your main balance or AED 15 international e-voucher balance to get the monthly FREE minutes.
• Voice calls spend includes only local and international calls. Roaming calls, premium and satellite calls or any other traffic types and rentals are not included.
• Voice calls spend counter will be reset every 30 days from the activation date.
• The FREE bonus minutes are consumed on a per minute basis.
• Upon line activation customers who subscribe to the My Bouquet package will not get the 40 minutes monthly bonus.
• Customers will lose the remaining FREE minutes if they migrate from Prepaid to Postpaid.
